STORY 2017 is a two day conference for makers, creators, and artists who tell stories in a variety of mediums, industries, and settings. From canvas and screens to classrooms and stages, STORY is for storytellers of all kinds. Part instruction, part inspiration, you’ll be challenged and stretched by innovative talks and unique performances. You’ll meet new friends and connect with leading creative practitioners, but even more, you’ll be challenged to become a better storyteller. Join us for a Carnival of Curiosity on September 21st-22nd in Nashville, TN.
Every year, I fly south to New Zealand & party with my friends at Festival ONE. During these days, I love to hang out with "punters" (campers), attend workshops, design immersive experiences & collaborate with a few bands & worship leaders. It's a good time.
The Culture Care Summit is an event curated by Makoto Fujimura & hosted by the Brehm Center for the Arts at Fuller Theological Seminary.
The theme for this gathering is Creating Beauty in Exile. If you're into thoughtful & intellectual conversations on art, faith & culture, you won't want to miss this event.
Icons & Illuminations: A Visual Liturgy
The practice of “visual worship” isn’t new. It’s been around long before environmental projection, stage design, & moving lights. In this class, Stephen Proctor will explore the history of liturgical art & how ancient creative practices can inform & shape the future of our visual worship. The key to our creative future could very well lie in the past.
