Every year, I fly south to New Zealand & party with my friends at Festival ONE. During these days, I love to hang out with "punters" (campers), attend workshops, design immersive experiences & collaborate with a few bands & worship leaders. It's a good time.
The Culture Care Summit is an event curated by Makoto Fujimura & hosted by the Brehm Center for the Arts at Fuller Theological Seminary.
The theme for this gathering is Creating Beauty in Exile. If you're into thoughtful & intellectual conversations on art, faith & culture, you won't want to miss this event.
Leading Visual Worship
STORY 2017 is a two day conference for makers, creators, and artists who tell stories in a variety of mediums, industries, and settings.
I'll be performing with The Radial Conservatory.
I'm also curating a unique night of liturgy & meditation based around The Beatitudes, featuring David Swick's "Breathing Strings", Fr. Chad Jarnagin, & Stu G.
Icons & Illuminations: A Visual Liturgy
The practice of “visual worship” isn’t new. It’s been around long before environmental projection, stage design, & moving lights. In this class, Stephen Proctor will explore the history of liturgical art & how ancient creative practices can inform & shape the future of our visual worship. The key to our creative future could very well lie in the past.
